The legend is alive! Commercio belongs to Zurich like the Bellevue square or the Grossmünster cathedral. The only thing that changed over the years is the location, from Schützengasse street to Stadelhofen square. Unchanged remained the interior, namely the oldest and surely still most beautiful standing bar of Zurich. And that should remain like this. During the renovation in summer 2011, the bar and the wooden panels were restored with lot's of love and passion for detail. Only the room layout is new: brighter, airier and more spacious.

Unchanged remained also the unique atmosphere of bar and restaurant into the wee hours of the morning. So if you want to enjoy Zurich's most famous post-midnight spaghetti, bring time and patience. Or good contacts. Or both. But like every true institution, it has its special character. And that is exactly what the many regulars estimate, being faithful to the Commercio for decades.
